It has been a couple of months since the last update so I thought I’d let everyone know of the latest from the shop and to get things going for May and June production runs. I do apologize for everyone on May’s run but I was not able to catch up as fast as I thought. It has been tough to fight the urge to rush the work so I can catch up faster, but my commitment has always been solid craftsmanship and so I have to continue that practice even if it is a bit of a slower process. Nevertheless, since my health hiatus earlier in the year I’ve been steadily chipping away at how far behind I am on orders and the schedule. I am planning on combining the May/June production runs onto one batch and as a general estimate I think it is possible to complete it by the July 4th holiday. April’s brushes are well on their way to completion with most handles entering the final stages. As a result, I will begin to take orders for May and June brushes next week.

Health Report

I’m happy to let everyone know that my health continues to be in good shape. The changes I made earlier in the year have not only contributed to the healing process but I am reaping other benefits and I’m continuing the good habits I’ve stuck to in these past few months. I am feeling pretty strong and have been putting in a lot of hours in the shop; I am enjoying the work more than ever before and I’m excited for some new things I’ve been able to accomplish which I will announce pretty soon.

May and June Orders

I will be getting in touch with everyone waiting to place orders for May and June via email just to touch base. Next week, I will follow up on an individual basis to start to finalize details of each brush and take orders.
