I just want to give a quick update for everyone that has submitted requests for custom brushes and for those who might be interested in a custom order for this year. Orders that were taken back in January have still not yet been fulfilled, but I have gotten in touch with everyone on that production run and given photo updates as the handles have all been turned. They are currently in the final stages of production which includes polishing/finishing and engraving. Brushes should start shipping next week barring any delays. I will begin to take orders for an April production run very soon and will contact those folks shortly to begin the process and answer any questions.
Health Report
I think it’s prudent that I give a health report as this has been the reason for the production delays since October of 2020.
Around the middle of January I had a recurrence of the same condition that plagued me initially in late Sept 2020. I did not fully recover until a few days into March. Though I was working sporadically, I had to limit my time in the shop for my body to make a recovery and regrettably was not keeping up with email either.
For the past two weeks I’ve been fully recovered and am feeling confident that I’ve found the root cause. From my research, this is a condition which many suffer from and has many causes, but the medical field seldom finds the true cause in each case, and only treats the symptoms. What initially presented itself as an injury has turned out most likely to have been a more complicated issue. However, alongside some powerful treatments I’ve done an extensive overhaul of my diet and added targeted supplementation with the goal of reaching better holistic health. I’m committed to getting well and to try to never suffer from this again, though I know that is not in my control. Right now, I feel strong enough to continue to fulfill custom orders. If anyone wants to postpone their order until a later time, I do understand and will do my best to accommodate such scheduling requests.
Production Run Schedule for 2021
I have laid out a production schedule on a monthly basis from April 2021 through August 2021 for all order requests currently on file. Any new requests that are submitted after today will be slated for September 2021 or later. I will begin contacting everyone within the next couple of days to let them know in what month their brush is slated for production.

I will have a follow-up blog post next week when this current production run gets closer to completion with additional news and will have some nice photos for everyone. Despite the delay, this is shaping up to be a really nice set of brushes.
